One of my students was dropped off at the wrong school this AM
Soooo apparently he had a sub bus driver and he didn't know where to bring my student so he just dropped him off at the last school he went too!
I'm a hearing impaired teacher and this particular student have very low language, so he couldn't tell the bus driver nor the people at the school what school he went to, only his first name.
Thankfully the hearing impaired teacher at that school called our lead HI teacher and said "do i have a new student?" Described him and she immediately knew who it was.
I went along to go get him so he would have a familiar face taking him to where he belonged.
Needless to say his mom is PIZZED and rightfully so...no one could give her an answer as to why this happened...transportation is being idiots like usual ...why oh why does this crap happen???

This happened to a student of mine a week into school. She went into the school, ate breakfast, wandered the halls and someone asked her if she knew where she was going and she said no.

That *****! Especially for our students with special needs that are not able to verbalize and communicate! So sorry that happened to him!

All I can say is   
I can't believe knowing that this child has a disability that the transportation department did not send this bus driver with a list as to what school he should be dropping students off at. That is disgusting! I hope Mom sues. I am not a big believer in lawsuits but when a company (the bus company) blatantly puts a child in jeopardy they need to be taught a lesson.
WOW Seriously I don't know how I could ever feel comfortable putting my child back on a bus if I was that mother.
I am just so glad that poor child is ok. I am sure he was really happy to see you and a friendly face, the poor thing.

ITA...but I doubt mom will do that...she asked us who she could call to yell at...we only told her to call the principal...we couldn't tell her who to call at transportation...However, the principal gave her the number of someone to call at transportation
