ONE more question about our plane flights in Dec, which would you choose for the way there?
DD will be 16 months. It's a 2.5 hr flight.
Prices went down so we want to book tonight or this weekend!  We can use our points for one of the flights but we only have enough points for these times:
9:50pm thurs night 12/23
6:00am wed morn 12/24
7:05am wed morn 12/24
We're staying for 9 days.

I like flying first thing in the morning. I'd do the 6AM.

I'd do the first, less about the actual flight time (although we fly long haul, so a sleeping baby is a good baby, which is why we usually choose late flights) than about the time we would have at our destination before the chaos of Christmas descends upon us and DS!

I could have sworn I made this a poll, but I guess it didn't work. I'm so torn. do we take the late flight and hope DD sleeps (once she is sleeping she transfers through anything!) or take the early morning flight and wake her early hoping she's in a good mood?

option 3.
The first option is a killer - DS would be awake half the night if we took this one
The second option is too early.
The third option is just right goldilocks

I would take one of the morning flights. That way, even if she's groggy or a bit off that afternoon, you still have one full day before Christmas Eve. That will give her some time to adjust to her surroundings.
If you fly Thursday, she'll wake up in a new place and be surrounded by people all day. That might be a bit too much for her.
