One more question - sorry!
OK - once in a while my cycle, which is normally 28 days like CLOCKWORK gets a bit screwy - like this past cycle, I got AF I think 21 or 22 days!
so, on a month like that (if I wanted to do it the old fashioned way) would I go by the same amount of days as I would for a 28 day cycle to assume I'm Oing around that time?
KWIM?
So, I think you O 2 weeks after AF (around that time) if you had a 28 day cycle. Would I try to BD 2 weeks after I had AF in a 22 day cycle if that was just a weird fluke? So, I sort of can assume I'd be back at 28 days if somehting like that happened only once or twice a year?

Re: One more question - sorry!
No - the time from CD1 to ovulation can vary from month to month - but your luteal phase (time from ovulation to next CD1) always stays pretty much the same. So say on your 28 day cycle - you ovulated on CD14 - that means your luteal phase is 14 days, and will pretty much always be 14 days. So on your 21 day cycles, your ovulation day is earlier. Subtract 14 days (your LP) from 21 - and your ovulation day is CD 7. Does that make sense? On those months if you are only going by counting days you will miss your ovulation day. But if you are watching your CM you should be able to tell when your body is getting ready to ovulate.

seriously, for me, that's OPK territory.... I know for myself, the TWW is too nutty to endure if I'm not even sure approximately when I O'ed....
If I'm trying, I'll try all the way... and need the OPK to keep me sane and tell me 'yes, you O'ed, and it was on that day'.

I too am like clockwork. Both times I tried, we were successful first time. 13 days after the first day of your period worked great for me. Happy planning.
