One Day Back at School
DD wakes up this morning with 101.9 fever. Seriously?! She was out sick the entire week before the break. She and almost 17 mo DS are still on antibiotics from the last illness. I'm 26 weeks pregnant and getting over being sick myself that has lasted almost a month!! DS has been sick since the beginning of November with literally a few healthy days sprinkled in during the entire time.
I'm at my wit's end! There's 2 1/2 more mos of winter. How are we going to get through this?! I'm also terrified of the stomach bug that's going around. The only saving grace is that I have a light workload right now and I'm working from home these next couple of weeks so I don't have to take more time off. I'm seriously trying not to lose my mind and I have a feeling I'm not the only one out there!

One Day Back at School
There is definitely a virus going around that's just a quick fever. My 2yo had it for about 12 hours, I had it for under 2 days. No other symptoms. Hopefully it's quick and painless!

Chances are it wasn't the one day of school that caused the fever. You don't pick something up and instantly get sick. It was probably brewing for a few days.

I was thinking the same. Incubation is generally longer with these things

Try elderberry syrup every day and a really good quality pro biotic every day too.
