On your registry...

Did you put clothes, or just let people buy them? I think people are going to buy them regardless, so I haven't added anything, but what do you girls think?

Re: On your registry...

No, I wouldn't add clothes. People will pick out plenty on their own. Plus, the stock changes so often, it might not be available from the time you register until your shower or when you have the baby.
Just my opinion.

Re: On your registry...

I just put on a few packs of onesies but that's really it. I figured there will be no shortage of adorable clothes that will be purchased and given to me so I didn't really bother registering for particular outfits.

Re: On your registry...

I added a few addidas sweatsuits (because they were so friggen cute) and someone bought them all!!!

But all of the packaged clothing (onesies, socks, undershirts...etc) were not bought at all.

Your going to most likely get tons of giftcards at your shower- You can def use those to purchase clothing items.

I put a layette set, but that was it. People will buy clothes whether they are on your registry or not.

Re: On your registry...

I am not going to put any clothes on- I am sure people will buy clothes on their own, and when the baby is born many people will bring clothes over when they visit- that's been my experience at least.

Re: On your registry...

you'll get plenty without registering, not to mention the clothing people will give as gifts. The only "clothing" type of things i registered for for DD was white oneseis and sleep sacks

I agree! I had some strechies on mine (when I had Hayley) and when people went to get them they couldn't find them.

Re: On your registry...

I don't think I am going to register for clothes. I actually made a notation on our registry that we prefer to get giftcards so we can use them down the road for things. I hope that's not too bold of me!

I put some things I know I will need because you can get the 10% off after your due date.

Re: On your registry...

I put a few blankets on my registry, but no clothes for a bunch of the reasons others have mentioned.
