On the train this morning

I was sitting in back of a guy reading Men's Health Magazine. I was looking over his shoulder at it and I found it to be really interesting.

The articles were great and I loved how concise and to the point they were, ie; get muscle, eat this and be leaner, lose the gut..be happier..etc..

Women's magazines tend to be a lot more flowery in the writing and it takes a lot longer to get to the point...I've read Self and the like.

I was impressed!

Women's Health magazine is really good too. I like it better than Self and Shape.

I'm sure a lot of it comes back to the differences between men and women. Men (in general) just want the answer, and the quicker they can get it, the better. Women (in general) are interested in the emotional aspects of stories, which usually adds to the flowery-ness and length of the articles.
