OMG.......UPDATED
Just woke up with blood on my panty! OMG I am freaking out. I am over 7 weeks pregnant with twins. Why is this happening??!! I already lost a set of twins back in May I can not go through this again!!!!
UPDATE**
Heard both babies heart beats, both measured right on target, heart rates were great. They are not sure why I bled. Dr said it looks like I may have a small pool of blood or clot in there that appears to be old blood not new because of the way it presented on sono and that it may stop, it may get heavier, or it might just hang around as spotting for weeks on end driving me crazy! At the moment I am not bleeding so I am happy about that. Hope to stay blood free!! I had a SCH with my other twin pregnancy but I bled VERY VERY heavily and for weeks, and it didnt happen til I was out of the 1st trimester. Don't wanna travel that road again really Thanks for the thoughts and prayers ladies I needed them! So for now we are ok I guess!

Re: OMG.......
Have you called your doctor yet?
I am so sorry that I cannot offer any advice. Try to stay calm. I believe that I've seen many ladies comment how this happened to them and everything ended up fine. I will pray for you

Re: OMG.......
Seeing blood when your pregnant is so scary BUT it doesnt nessarily mean its over. Many women have bleeding during their pregnancy. I spotted at 6 and 7 weeks and was told i had a subchronic hematoma. The first time at 6 weeks they didnt detect the hematoma but saw it at 7 weeks.
My sister has 4 children and out of those 4 pregancies she bled 3 times like she had a lighter period - enough to use pads during the day.
I know having a prior loss makes you always think the worst. I pray everythings ok.
When was the last time you had a sono to determine theyre were twins? did they see a hb in both sacs?
good luck and keep us updated

Re: OMG.......
Don't panic yet. Call your dr and go in for a sono.
I bled heavily from weeks 5 - 12 and both babies turned out fine.
Google Subchronic hematoma.
I know how scary it is!

Re: OMG.......
I know someone who is 20 weeks and is still bleeding. She's fine.
Please call your doctor. You need to make sure everything is ok for your peace of mind but please try to think positively.

Re: OMG.......
It's easier said than done, but try not to panic. I had spotting early on in my pregnancy and everything was fine.

Re: OMG.......
Hang in there!
I was also pregnant with twins and had a lot of bleeding. I was sure that I lost them both... my bleeding was literally heavier than a VERY heavy period, with blood clots and everything!
There was nothing I could do...
BUT - I went to the RE after the weekend and saw both babies' heartbeats.
(I later ended up losing one, but didn't have ANY bleeding when that happens - so just keep in mind that bleeding doesn't alway equal loss)
I'm praying for you!

Re: OMG.......
I have read that it is normal to bleed. I would try not to panic until your sono. Parying everything works out.
ETA: Just saw that you had a Sono yesterday, was it an internal? I spot for about 2 days after an internal.

Re: OMG.......
I FM'ed you, and hopefully you have some peace of mind by now ....
As I and some of the othbers have said, it very well may be a SCH...I bled with my DD and had some bleeding as you know this time as well that was attributed to that ( in addition to previa which is also quite common)...
When was your internal sono ?? I seem to bleed a few days after those as well ( that wand irritates the cervix which is extra sensitive during pregnancy)
Please update when you have a chance, I'm thinking of you !!!!

Re: OMG.......
I bled with DD and freaked out. I thought it was over....she will be 3 in November. Call your Dr. for reassurance...I heard bleeding is more common if you have had IVF or Fertility treatments...this is what the nurse told me when I was bleeding with DD.

Re: OMG.......
I also spotted in the first trimester. It can be normal. I am almost 32 weeks. Its hard not to worry, I know, I put my DH and myself through agony everytime I spotted. Just speak with your doctor. I hope all will be ok. Saying a little for you.
