omgggggg guess what a bad day I had....
to sum it up...my dh took my neighbors huge cedar swingset.
He hurt his back 3 days ago and can hardly walk but hes so sweet he wanted to try to take it down a and put it up before the party on Tues.
he neededhelp....
I calledmy 13 yr old to comehome to assist---he was fresh---said some realllllllllly nice things---lets just say hes punished until hes 20/
fast forward to my dh piling a lader on a ladder...
he falls on his herniated back...
but guess what he did?
he has a rusty *** screw in his mouth!!!!!!
it WENT RIGHT THROUGH THE INSIDE OF HIS UPER LIP STRAIGHT OUT HIS LIP! LIKE A PIERCING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he was bruised like I beat his *** too..
of course...he didn't feel it due to the muscle relaxers...
I tried all over LI to get him a tetanus shot---some beyotch told me they r open until 2.45...urgent care clinic--I drove 80 MPH in the rain to get him there..
we got there at 2.46***no ****..2.46,,,she locked the doors and would not let him in!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he refused to go to the ER. and went home and continued putting up the swing set.
So........I have to see if I can get him a shot before NYC early am tomorrow or monday--I was told he can wait 48 hours...
if his jaw locks he has a problem a nurse told me...
just another thing to worry about!!!!!!
unreal...
and not for nothing...2.46????????
she wouldn't let me in?
where is a brick when i need it?

OMG I can't believe the day you had!! I would offer my DH as help in putting up the swing set but I paid A LOT of money to have mine put up professionally because frankly I don't trust him to hang picture frames, let alone something kids are going to climb on.
I hope he feels better.

What a fantastic hubby - and what a wonderful wife.
I am sure he will be okay. And I am sending huggggge prayers that today turns out to be 100000 times better than yesterday!

What an awful story! As for the nurse who wouldn't let you in- that was pretty stupid on her part- IF he does get lockjaw you would have a pretty good lawsuit on your hands. How unethical of her!
