Those things scare the cr@p out of me.
All they are is glorified golf carts.
Like saving a few bucks in gas is worth your life.

I saw this on TV - I think yesterday? Very scary and they made it very clear to say that when it comes to cars, size DOES matter. I know a lot of people say the small cars are just as safe as the larger ones, but these tests prove otherwise.

Did anyone really expect them to be safe? I drive an SUV and I get scared out of my mind when someone in a small car cuts me off or makes a bad move because my truck could crush them. I can't even imagine what it would be like against an 18 wheeler or some large truck like that.

my aunt has a smartcar and swore it was as safe as anything else
I hope she saw this
I would never feel safe in one- I have been an SUV driver since I was 17

my sisters friend hit a gravel truck in HS...he lived b/c he was in an SUV
