OMG. Smoking!!!
DH still has yet to get the patch. Meanwhile I have been on Metformin, low carb diet for 2 months. I am doing my part, why can't he do his!!!!!  I even said to him last night, of all times in our lives, you can't do the patch NOW?? After we just paid $22,000 to potentially get pregnant!!! You can't do it NOW!!! He has done it before when we weren't TTC.
Come on already!!! He keeps saying next week, next week...
I start my BCP / injections in 2 weeks!!!!!
Edit to clarify -he has severe sperm issues....the doctor told him straight out if he quit his sperm could increase and improve quality etc...ahhhhh

Ooooh DH and I are not smokers but my father is and I am on his a$$ constantly.
I would really get on him I mean I know it is an addiction and it is hard to quit but come on. Can the doctor maybe talk to him?

he definitely needs to quit.....for you adn for himself.
you wont like this but if you keep on him and saying "im doing my part you do yours" especially with him having Severe MF, its probably adding more stress and making him want to smoke more....
That said, I completely understand your frustration. I would be the same way - but i can just see your DH recoiling everytime he gets yelled at for smoking and then just wanting another cigarette bc hes being pushed the other way.

I'm sorry Jen!! That really sucks that he has not realized that he should quit by now....but, he is also probably stressed like some others have said... I wish I could offer some good advice, but unfortunately when it comes to smoking the person doing it has to come to terms with quitting ..ugh!!
