OMG--He Peed on the Potty! Edited With Question
We haven't really started toilet training yet, but DS has been so interested in watching us go lately, flushing, etc., I have been thinking I need to learn more about potty training.
So today he's holding himself there, and saying "pee". I ask him if he wants to sit on his potty, and he says yeah. So honestly, I didn't expect anything, I thought he was just playing around. But when he gets up, there is pee in the potty!?!
QUESTION: Did you use pull ups right away (during the day of course) or keep them in diapers at the start? Or did you just move to regular underwear?

no tips - but congrats!!!!
i know i've seen pee targets - for little boys - they can aim at them, etc. it makes it more fun! i actually saw them in BRU yesterday!

OMG, these are hysterical! Though he's going sitting down right now. And only one time today, we'll see if this is a fluke or the start of something.
We did go out and buy pull-ups, not sure if it's too soon or not, but I thought it might encourage him to use the potty more often.

1st that's great! with my 1st two boys I went straight to underwear and at bed time put on a diaper ( I would however carry an extra change of clothes and a dish towel just in case I had to clean up anything) for my 3rd I used pull ups because he was affraid to sit on the potty so he would poop in his pants however the past couple of days (he's been peepee trained for about a wk) I've been putting him in underwear and I think he didn't want to dirty his new underwear that he actually started sitting and pooping on the potty GOOD LUCK!
