omg - my turn - Ive finally done it too
We went to the store today and DS climbed into his carseat by himself while I was loading packages into the car. I then went and pushed the cart to the wagon return area which was one parking space over. I came back and got into the car. About a mile later, I looked in the review and realized I never buckled the car seat - AT ALL!!!! I immediately pulled over and buckled him up. But in that initial moment, my stomach dropped to the floor. I CANNOT believe I did that. We just did things out of order this time and it was freezing and I just never did it.
Not my proudest mommy moment!

We did that once too. We were leaving the long term parking after getting back from a vacation. We installed the seat and then let her climb in as we loaded all of our bags in the car. When we pulled onto the road DD asked if she should close it. DH was driving and pulled over. I was out of my belt and into the backseat faster than I ever thought I could move to close it.

I just did that too for the first time the other day..funny because there was just a thread about it.
Well, now I hope I never do it again because it scared the $hit out of me!!!

I once buckled him in after DH told me he put the car seat in the car (transferred from his car) - made a turn to discover that the SEAT was never buckled in! And tumbling he went!!!
It happens!!!

It happened to me TWICE, and both times, I only knew because Ava said, "Mommy! Don't Drive! I'm not safe!"

JUST did it again myself with Chloe the other day. Sleep deprived and RUNNING late for a Dr."s appointment while getting a babysitter adjusted to the other two, I got there, and realized I never strapped her in
