olive green couch, off-white walls
what color drapes/curtains? 
Also, what colors go well with olive?

PS We're going to eventually paint the living room...but it's open to the kitchen which will be sage green. Would a creamy soft yellow look okay with an olive couch? That might change your thoughts on the colors of the drapes.

well, since I'm not very creative my curtains match my couches I have olive couches, the curtains are a teeny bit darker, and my walls are off white. It looks really nice though

Any earth tone would look great with that color combo, think of autumn colors. Yellow is a great choice but I would go towards a gold instead of a buttery yellow only because it might throw off the coloring of the walls.

Brown curtains would look nice. I have green walls, a white sofa and brown curtains and I love the look.

What about a burnt orange or deep crimson???
Maybe something like this???
You could tie it all together with some throw pillows on the couch also!

I have olive green couches. Moss I think is the color but they look olive to me. My walls are a brownish gold and it looks awesome with the couches. I dont currently have curtains up in the LR/DR but I use to have navy blue which looked nice too.

Our couch is more of an olive color but it looks brownish in pictures. we have off white/yellow walls, beige roman shades. Here's a pic. Image Attachment(s):

Funny! I'm in the EXACT same position. I've got an olive green couch AND I'm planning to paint the living room a muted-like yellow color. A family friend has Benj. Moore #199 and 200 and I really like it. Maybe check that out?
I need drape suggestions too! I was thinking chocolate brown.

I think if you like the yellow, make sure it is more buttery than sunny.

we have a sort of gold matte taffetta curtain w/ our olive green couch....
got them from linens & things- it has a VERY SLIGHT olive green sheen to them in the light.
