older kids and bike rides
how do you go for bike rides with your older DC??? DD has a bike with training wheels, but i want to be able to go on longer bike rides on my bike. i have a trailer now but its just way too heavy for me to pull at this point. i was looking at bike seats but they tend to end at 40lbs...DD is 38lbs and kinda tall. are there any other options out there that you know of?

What about one of these? It's essentially a regular bike for them, but attached to your bike, making it a tandem bike.

This one has a 75lb limit.
ETA: This bar converts an existing bike to a towed bike, giving you the benefits of the above bike, but also the ability to detach DC's bike, and let them ride on their own (if you go to a park, for example, you can tow them to the park, then let them ride around inside the park) http://www.walmart.com/ip/Trailgator-Tandem-Bike-Bar/11065188
