Older dd / newborn photos
Can anyone post or describe what your older dd wore if she was in the newborn photos for your younger child(ren)? Dd will be 3, and I have no idea what to get for her! Thanks!

We did ours in August. I had her in a yellow dress with some white trim. She was the pop of color in our pictures.

I had big sis and lil sis shirt/onesie made. So so cute. Dd1 also wore a cute dress that matched one of the backdrops of the pics.

DD ended up just wearing a silly shirt and leggings. We had a cute outfit for her but she somehow managed to get dirt from a plant at my MIL house all over her right before pictures and I didn't have a "Nice" back up outfit for her to wear. Whatever you chose for DD make sure you have a back up.

Ask the photographer if she has a plan for the sibling shot or if you have any ideas about what kind of shot you want?
My last session they wanted both girls in a yoda hat, but also wanted nicer one. They didnt have the same dress on but they went really well together... its one of my favorite pictures ive taken ever.

our dd is 3 and we had our newborn shoot about 2 months ago. our photographer actually had a huge selection of dresses for our older dd to wear. they were cream colors and pastel colors, sparkly, whimsical dresses. all sleeveless and just very light, flowy fabrics. she also had jewelry for her to wear!
