This is my first baby so I dont have any experience but I was told by my dr and classes that contractions should have a pattern for an hour, like every 10 mins or so. If I remember correctly only like 30% of women's water breaks naturally. Did your dr tell you when to call? When your contractions are every 5 mins or anything like that?

I know to call when the water breaks, other than that, I really don't recall. The contractions we have now, are nothing compared to what we will have, so i assume when the painful ones come, to call...
our childbirth class said that not everyone's water breaks, too.
