Okay party planners....please help! I am overwhelming myself with ideas...
My theme is a carnival.... problem is I have tooooooooooooo many ideas and I'm becoming overwhelmed!!!!!!!
I really need to narrow down my entertainment.... in an ideal world with space and $$ not being an issue, I would have tons of carnival games, every kind of carnival food booths I could think of, clowns, etc.... HOWEVER... bringing myself back to reality... what should I do? A clown show? Magician? Balloon Twisting? Face painter? Rent cotton candy, pretzel, popcorn machine?
ETA- this is my 3rd "BIG" party...so we've used Twinkle Town with Clown and Elmo and Cotton Candy.... we've used Small World Entertainment for Clowns, face painting, cotton candy. Just so you know what I've done already.

i haven't had any of these yet bc LO is a newborn! but i have been to parties where there have been face painters and balloon people and they have always kept the kids occupied and entertained...ive also seen a magician and the kids were not as entertained as they were with the balloons/face painter

My DS's 3rd b-day was a carnival theme 
We did carnival games, I made balloon animals and did facepainting (I used to own an entertainment company so I was able to do that myself)..We also have a bouncy house...We had a sand art table and tattoo staion...
I was contemplating giving out live goldfish in a bag as a favor but after running it past the ladies of LIF, I thought better of it 
I would definately do a cotton candy machine...
Just got a great catalogue in the mail with some really cool carnival theme stuff (similar to Oriental trading) called Shindigz:

my girlfriend just used adrenaline entertainment for a party- they had a beauty and the beast that did facepainting- that same girl also did her 2 birthday and was a clown- so look for someone like that who can do double duty like be a clown & a facepainter
My sil got a book from B&N and taught herself how to do balloon animals- she is obviously limited and can only do a couple things but its still cool

Thanks! Um, I definitely will NOT be doing balloon animals myself... lets leave that to the experts! LOL

we used legendary entertainment for the twins 1st bday and they were great. we had micky and minnie, but i konw they have a lot of carnival stuff. they are vendors on here.
