I think Carsten is a great name. And besides--who cares what a bunch of people on the internet think of your son's name? If YOU love it, you should use it!!!!!

I agree, if you like it and your Dh likes it too, nevermind what everyone else thinks.
Caden is becoming very popular anyway.
My nephew of 3 is named Aiden and so many in his age group share the same name or something similar - Jaden, Caden, Cayden, Aiden, Ayden, Hayden.

i loved carsten but i love cayden jeremy too - i love the spelling and i have had a soft spot for anyone named jeremy since the 3rd grade! (my first real crush  )
ETA: laurie, you know with all of this stress over a boy's name you are definitely going to have girl!
