OK starting to freak a little
I will be 30w on Monday.
I have anterior placenta but also have a very acyive baby. Constantly moving and kicking, to the point that my stomach acyually moves from the outside.
Since yesterday I have noticed a decrease in movement. I have felt it a few times last night and a few times today, but much more muffled, not as hard, and definetly not as often.
I drank some cold water, shook the belly a lil, put a flashlight on the belly to try and stimulate movement and I am not getting much.
I am starting to really freak out, thinking what if the umbilical cord has gotten wrapped around the neck or something. DH keeps telling me that the baby is just chilling and to let it rest, but I am too nervous.
DH is cooking right now and if I do not feel it after the meal dh is going to get some oj, if I still dont feel it I should call the dr right???????
I mean even though I have felt it today, is it ok to call still?
I really hate this and I just cant wait until this baby is safe and in my arms

Re: OK starting to freak a little
My dr always told me to drink or eat something sweet and lay on my left side for a while and I should feel movement within an hour.

Re: OK starting to freak a little
The baby is getting bigger, there is going to be less room day by day for him to move around. If you felt the baby today then you're fine. If you call the dr will tell you to drink something sweet, try OJ or chocolate milk, drink alot, they lay on your side and relax. You'll feel something.

Re: OK starting to freak a little
Thank you both. After having dinner I feel the baby moving around, although it feels a lot lower than it has been, but I guess its fine and baby might just be getting big and having less room to wiggle. I have a growth sono on wednesday so we will see just how big this LO is. Thanks again
