Ok, Leaking through Huggies 3 Overnites? Edit at bottom: Leaked through diaper doubler now...
***? LOL! My almost 5-month-old wears a size 2 diaper and last week I posted about how she was leaking overnight in them. Last night I tried the 3s, and she still leaked. Is it possible they're just too big? I'm worried it's not normal to pee this much!!! It doesn't happen every night, but most nights. I'm so frustrated changing the sheet/laundering each morning. At least it's the ultimate crib sheet, so it snaps around rails, but still. I would like to put a pee wee sheet under her, but she's into everything now and I worry she'll find it under her and pull it up. Any ideas what I could try or what's going on? I was ready to swear this would work! (FYI she goes in at 7:30 pm, wakes at 6 am)

is the diaper tight? if my DD's diaper is not very tight she leaks. whenever anyone else (my mom, MIL, SIL etc.) puts on her diaper she usually leaks b/c they don't make it tight enough!
also, they sell something called diaper booster pads that go in the diapers to help with leaks. they look like the giant pads they give you in the hospital after childbirth! LOL but they help with the leaks!!

Do they sell those at Buy Buy Baby? Maybe between THOSE and size 3, I can stop changing sheets daily!

Huggies overnight with the diaper doubler!! and make sure the huggies is tight!!! Good Luck!!!!!!! Also, the fisher price overnights have worked for us. Waking up and having to change the sheets is soooooo frustrating!!! Hope you find something that works for her!
My kids leak out of the pampers extra protection.

I don't like the diaper doubler. It moves and DS gets soaked. We use size 4 huggies overnights and make sure it's tight. DS is 5 months.

DS was a chronic leaker too. I bought a few G Diaper covers (like one that goes over cloth diapers to prevent leaking) and that helped. I'm sure you'll try anything at this point!

Thanks! Last night I used the Huggies 3 Overnights WITH diaper doubler. She still leaked, I have sheets in the wash, but it wasn't as bad as usual. Going to try all the above suggestions!

After trying ALL of the above methods, none have worked for us either. DS is still leaking a few nights a week. I know for sure now that it's because DS drinks soooo much. No diaper is going to hold that much pee. So for the past few weeks we've been limiting his liquids after 5:30 pm and it seems to be helping.
Maybe try giving her a bottle a little bit earlier and make sure she pees before she goes to sleep?

some things we have found with leaking ...
if the diaper is too tight (like pulled up really high into her croootch (the real spelling is blurred out) and sung around her thighs and on her belly) there is less room for absorption. think of rain on realllly dry, hard ground = runoff not absorbed into the ground.
let the diaper be a little bit loose, room for urine to move around and absorb ... sounds like the opposite would happen but it works.
also, onsies will make matters worse. they will also hold the diaper close to her. try looser PJs.
where does she leak? up front or back? if its up front, make the diaper higher in the front, lower in the back.
pampers extra absorbency are great! get one size bigger than she normally wears!

DS was leaking through everything the past month. I found disposable diaper inserts at BRU and they are AWESOME!!
Hasn't leaked since!
I love Huggies for his regular diapers, but found the overnites just weren't cut right.. not sure why

I agree with PPs...try another brand..I never used Huggies...but never had prob with pampers swaddlers/cruisers...
I would use the next size up at night only when they started to leak..and that seemed to do the trick
another trick that worked is to always wear a onesie under PJs it helped keep the diaper in place!
