ok ladies need shoe help badly
I have real problems with my feet lately. They hurt no matter what shoes I wear. I only wear born shoes to work lately. Even aerosoles are not good enough anymore. Anyhow, I need a shoe for at home. we don't wear shoes in our house. We switch to slippers inside but I don't wear slippers b/c they're not comfy/supportive enough. I had a pair of slides that I bought to use as "house shoes" and they were basically like sneakers except you could slide them on/off. Super soft and cushiony. well I wore them into the ground until they completely came apart. They were hanes and I got them at walmart of all places. and I have been back there to look they no longer carry them. I need a replacement. The ones I settled for are not cushiony enough. Sorry this is so long but I am desperate. can you suggest anything. Keds makes a shoe that looks just like the hanes one I had but I ordered them and they're not cushiony enough. I need sneaker comfort with the ease of sliding them on and off. Where should I look? Anyone own anything like this. Thanks. I'm also 6 mos pregnant so I keep getting heavier and more uncomfortable by the day upping the need for a solution.
It was something like thisslipper shoe

Re: ok ladies need shoe help badly
I have found that my fit flops are actually very supportive and comfortable. I feel like they are a sneaker bottom. Do you want your toes to be covered though?
Also, have you seen an orthopedist? DH sees one and he gets special insoles made for his shoes that are custom molded to his feet - insurance covers it. They are removable so he only needs one pair which he puts in the shoes he is going to wear. This way he can buy whatever shoes he wants and they work for his feet.

Re: ok ladies need shoe help badly
my sister has feet problems and she bought a pair of sketcher like shoes that were a more expensive brand (sorry I forget the name) -- but she swears by them and says they were more comfortable and provide more support than the sketchers.
Clarks are also really comfortable and supportive shoes.
Is tehre a Comfort One store in NY? I liive in the DC/MD area and that store has good shoes if you are looking for comfort and support
