Yes. It's normal to be very bloated in the beginning. It will eventually go down.

I am going through it too. Bought myself new pants before my BFP and those pants barely button (I lose weight and dropped a size)...Oh well, back into my "bigger" size, but, as long as I'm comfy, it's all worth it.

I know, I am going to have to do something. I cant take being so unncomfortable all day (and then it makes me feel fatter!)

You can use a rubber band or you can purchase a bella band. I bought a bella band around 9 weeks b/c my pants were getting very uncomfortable. Some people don't like the bella bend, but I liked it b/c it helped me stay in my regular pants for much longer.

Re: Ok. Im soo embarrased to admit this but...
The first time around, I got super bloated around 6 weeks and went out and bought maternity clothes. A week later, the bloating went down and I was back in my normal clothes and didn't need the maternity clothes until about 10-12 weeks.
It happens to all of us

Re: Ok. Im soo embarrased to admit this but...
8 weeks, things got uncomfortable..
9 weeks, changed into a larger pair of shorts (i'm warm ALL THE TIME - so i'm doing shorts & sweatshirts).. My bra is also VERY uncomfortable...
10 weeks, the larger pair of shorts are now not fitting nicely.....
placed an order with Old Navy Maternity and returned it all (too small, but i was an XXL to begin with before pregnancy)....
placed an order with Lane Bryant Maternity - hopefully that stuff will fit my ever expanding body...

Re: Ok. Im soo embarrased to admit this but...
I gained some weight right after the wedding- so right now my pants are...TIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been trying to wear the elastic pair of pants that I have from NY&Co. They seem to work for now.
I totally know what you mean.

I was so bloated in the beginning. I didn't have a pregnancy belly but my pants started not fitting. It is perfectly normal.

Re: Ok. Im soo embarrased to admit this but...
very normal, I resisted the maternity clothes until 11 weeks(but that was because i had some pants from before i lost weight)...... let me tell you- just cave and get some they are SOOOO much more comfortable, try alot on as there are so many different styles.
I found a comfy pair at sears- with a side zipper/button
