Randella is feeling the same way as you...if you're normally thin and have strong abdominal muscles, it's going to take you a while to show your "baby bump."
Think of it this way--you'll have less to lose when the baby comes! Meanwhile, me and my small condo over here will be struggling to go back to normal size while you just pop right back to your normal dimensions!!!
Do you have any belly pics? We'll let you know if you have that bump yet!!!

Re: Ok i know this has been asked but when o when
thats the problem i wasnt thin before i got pregnant. I weight 160lbs and now i think i weight 172. Oh well i guess it is what it is. As long as there is no bleeding im sure it safe to assume all is well right?

Re: Ok i know this has been asked but when o when
I think you're just fine! Everybody grows completely differently. Maybe you're putting it on in your butt and thighs instead?? Sorry...had to throw that in there...only because I tried to put on a pair of pre-preggo jeans today and couldn't get them past my thighs!!!
But really, since you weren't "thin" to begin with, maybe it's just taking a little longer for the little peanut to show through? I'm going to say by week 22, you're going to see a huge difference.
I just "popped" this week....so, I'm sure you're right behind me. I'm posting my pics in a little while. You'll have that belly in no time.
In the meantime, don't eat anymore than you already are! You just put the weight on and not be able to get it off as easy. The baby takes all the nutrition it needs from you--adding more in will only make it harder to lose post-preggo!

Just remmeber that everybody's body is different. My BF was as thin as me and didn't show until 20wks and I started showing early, about 12 weeks. I looked huge compared to her. So you'll get your bump sooner than later. It will prob sneak up on you when you least expect it!!

I'm 19w5d today and just this past week (more like the past few days), I can finally say I look pregnant. I was also plus sized to begin with. Hang in there, when you least expect it, you will pop!

Re: Ok i know this has been asked but when o when
Check out my belly shots. It took me a LONG time to get a belly and even now at full term I'm far from huge. Everyone carries different, it all depends on your uterus and how it stretchs. Once you start feeling the baby move on a regular basis you'll feel better

Re: Ok i know this has been asked but when o when
Everyone is different, as long as everything is going ok with the baby I wouldn't worry. I could tell around 12-13 weeks that a little bump had started and then my belly just ballooned from there.
