OK- cue the inspirational music

I will make more of an effort to become an active poster. I've been an avid lurker since May 2005 and rarely post. My reasoning is that I am a "hunt and pecker" when typing, so what might take the average four-year-old 60 seconds to type can take me up to five minutes.

I feel like I know most of you (esp those of you from LIW), so I guess I should be letting you guys get to know me. Many of the life stories I've read on here have effected me deeply, and I want you all to know that even though I haven't posted it, many times my thoughts/prayers are with those who needed them. Additionally, I have felt such happiness for those who's prayers were answered.

I don't live in LI anymore (now live in Baltimore area, soon to be Northern VA), but I miss LI deeply. I wish I could find a board like this for locals down here- as I know many of the friendships made here carry over into real life.

I also really miss NY pizza and bagels.....

I'm also no longer in NY - and in VA (currently in the Shenandoah Valley - but soon to be in Fairfax County).

I also post on the DC board over on the nest. There are some really nice ladies over there

There are also quite a few of us on here that have relocated to VA, so you're in good company!
