Ok - so how about this for my room

I've been eyeing this set for months but didn't want to spend the money on it. After searching and seeing the Kohl's set in person I don't love it.

So here is what I'm going to get:



It has a taupey grey stripe on it as well as on one of the decorative pillows - the bedskirt is also that taupe color as well. Inside the embriodery is a grey/ivory.

Soooooo - I'm going to paint the accent wall the same color as that dark taupe color, rest of room will remain the ivory that is already on the wall, will get the headboard in an ivory color, ivory curtains and keep my clear base lamps with silver shade.

I put aqua with it and it looked terrible so looks like taupe, ivory and silver.....nothing I wanted but in the store it looked so nice together.....

What do we think - give it a go???

I think it is beautiful and is going to look really nice. It will definitely be a nice relaxing retreat.

with those colors, it'd hard to play around, especially with aqua

it's definitely very pretty, though!!
