Has anyone signed up for a oil contract recently?
Just seeing what prices people are getting for oil and service contract.
Our contract w/Slomin's is up Saturday.

Re: Oil Contracts...
We had signed a contract with General in October for a price cap at $4.14. They were TERRIBLE and a ripoff. I was on the phone with their CS all the time fighting to have oil delivered. I finally canceled my contract with them and now get COD

what kind of early termination fee did they charge you?
OP: we have a Petro contract that we are actually breaking out of next week to convert to gas... wish we would tranfer it! haga. capped at $3.83/gallon (signed in September)

Re: Oil Contracts...
I signed last month with Petro at $3.69.
First they offered $4.09, then $3.99, $3.89, $3.79, $3.74. lol
I beat them up on the price and wouldn't sign for anything less. General was offering $3.49 fixed lock last month. Slomins had $3.59.
But I have been having some issues with my boiler and wanted Petro for the service. I just replaced my water heater with an indirect so maybe next year I can switch if things start to run better.
NEVER sign a plan with a cap. Total waste of money as they will bang you for the cap price every time and there is nothing you can do to prevent this!

3.84 w petro. They gave us 100 dollar credit (so contract was basically free) and installed a free programmable thermostat. Ours was an old school one.
