oh, the process of learning to read
I was in a first grade class today.
the kids were reading silently. well they were chatty, so im the only one who heard this (Thank GOD!!)one girl comes over to me and goes "does this say f- uck it ? does this say f- uck it ? this is f- uck it, right ?"
I didnt show it but I was thinking    as I looked at her book and said
"no... faucet"    
She was probably SO excited to be able to say the word
But it didnt dawn on her or anyone eles what she was saying...
