I bought Tums, but I've had such a gag reflex that I was afraid to try them. My doctor said I could take Zantac 75 twice per day. I only take it when my heartburn is really bad. It helps a lot. Feel better.

I feel your pain, sweetie. my heartburn was SO bad that I lost 13-15 pounds and had acupuncture done. Tums, Rolaids, Mylanta did NOTHING for me.
The heartburn returned this past week and I am once again in a lot of pain.

it's really more annoying and uncomfortable, than debilitating-- oh, and constant.

That's what we have in the house, but the Tums make me nauseus. I didn't have bad heartburn early on, but I have it more often now.

I have to tell you guys, Nexium has saved my life from the heartburn!! I was having it bad, taking Pepcid twice a day plus loads of Tums and nothing was helping at all. I started taking this and I can sleep in bed without having to be stright up!! You only take it once a day and it's safe for pregnancy. Run to your doctors and get this!!!

Oh man! I had it really bad with DD. Doc gave me Zantac 150 and I was in heaven! DD was healthy when she was born, BTW, if you are worried about taking meds.

i get heartburn all the time but it's not terrible... i use Tums Smoothies, they are not chalky at all and work great for me.

Yup. I've been taking Nexium 40mg for years for my ulcer and acid reflux. One in the morning does it.
