oh no! after a loooong day,
all i wanted to get home and take a nice hot shower....but nothing is ever simple!
I was off today (off Wednesdays, work Saturdays. not too bad a deal), so I spent the day running errands...birthday gifts, etc. I really don't like shopping, so today was more stressful for me than a normal day at work. Oh, and dragging Rich along was fun...he stops to look at anything that's electronic, moves, or is just SHINY in general.
Then had a wake tonight for a family member of one of Rich's family members (never met the poor old man), and my shoes were KILLING my feet (no Red, they weren't crazy-glued this time).
So I come home, take a great shower and get ready to relax, and my scalp starts BURNING. Like, omg, my head is on fire BURNING.
Now its burning and bumpy.
I must be allergic to whatever is in the new scent that Pantene is using. I used to use Pantene all the time and never had an issue. I've been meaning to get to Ulta to restock because I left my favorite Redken shampoo in Vegas (the bottle was practically empty), and now my HEAD IS BURNING!!!
I already took some Benadryl and re-shampooed with some Paul Mitchell Clarifying, but its still burning!
What the heck can I do?!?
And now Rich is laughing at me because I keep screeching "My head is burrrrrrrrning," and its reminding him of a REALLY OBNOXIOUS JERKY BOYS SKIT (with a different word in there  .)

I am sorry you are having such a bad night.
I also have very sensitive skin---cant change laundry detergent, soap, shampoo ect....so when something really irritated my skin and causes me to itch, I normally put an ice pack on the area and that seems to calm the irritation down. You could try that. Hope you feel better!

great idea - thank you!
I work in a PT office - I have ginormous ice packs laying around! it'll definitely cover my whole head.
