So I had a brilliant idea to have DS bday at the Lego store in Roosevelt Field. His bday is the end of next month. Then I thought maybe we'd do it next weekend bc my one SIL will be in town and her younger 2 boys can come. I know...prior planning goes a long way. But in my own defense, I have been on top of their parties for years now. But now he's at the smaller party age so I was def winging it and seeing who was available when.

So...it turns out that the Lego Store does not do weekend parties. I get it, it's probably a madhouse but it seems so odd. They said they can do parties as late as 5pm on Tue Wed or Thu. My kids don't even get home until a quarter to 4.

So should I have a party for him at 5pm on a weeknight? It's 10 kids - 3 are mine, 3 are my nieces & nephews and I let him invite 4 friends. Then what? Get food there? In my head everyone could come back here after a Sat afternoon party and have pizza & cake. They have his actual bday available or the day after. What to do...
