haha! i'm only seeing this now!!

In one word.. it was EXHAUSTING!!! haha!!

but it was fun overall. the first 1.5 hours were really good. then my back and ancles started hurting. 2 hours in we came across the gliders... i sat for less than 10 minutes before my mother and one sil were calling me over to look at cribs!! ha.

then about 3.5 hours in.. i became in a daze like state. people were showing me things and all i did was stare into space. i couldn't even comprehend that they were showing me stuff to swipe with the gun. haha!!

but all in all... we did really good. i registered for A LOT of stuff. I still have tweaking to do on the registry.... and a few things to add as well.

my one sil bought me all these bibs and little things that were low inventory. that was sooo sweet of her!!! so i even came home with a little bag of stuff... including 2 really cute outfits!! it's kinda hard to have baby stuff and no baby for it yet!! i can't imagine what it's going to be like after the shower!! then i'm going to be sooo anxious to just have her already!! i can be either the most patient person... or the most impatient person... with this... i'm impatient!!

Yay!!! I did the same thing on the gliders when I went to register!!! It's like a rite of passage lol. And later on, you'll go and just hang out on them during a long day shopping with your LO!

So sweet of your SIL to get you bibs and stuff! Did one say "proud auntie"?

I loved registering at BBB but I totally got into that dazed stste when I was at Target. Which is weird because their baby section seems small, in general. But oh my!!!

I'm glad you had your mom to help, along with a SIL! I went with my dad who actually bought our furniture the day we went, then he hung out on the gliders on the phone as I ran around. Very oddly, when I went to register at Bed Bath & Beyond for our wedding, it was also my dad with me!! (But then I was in Garden City, not Durham!)

You'll have fun adding and tweaking etc your registry. I JUST did my completion order on amazon yesterday (the coupon expires 2 months after your due date, which is tomorrow for me). Someone gave me a $250 amazon gift card. I spent that, saved $45 with the completion coupon, and still spent $100! Babies are so much fun to buy for, but you won't really know what you want and they need until she's here.

Soon you'll be washing everything and getting the closet and dresser all stocked!!!! So fun!!!!!

congrats! i went to BBB just to look around and I got exhausted, I was there for 30 minutes!!
