oh dear God let us close tomorrow. UPDATE!!!
We CLOSED!!!!!!
Thank you all for your good wishes. Ahhh, we finally have $$ now, lol! YAY!!!
We have been in closing H E L L for two weeks now. I feel SO bad, the couple buying our house wanted to move in a week before Christmas, but due to their horrible lawyer and horrible agent, things kept on getting pushed off...supposedly they had an awful holiday, because everything they own was packed up already, and they really thought they would be in the house by then. Not my fault, but still...
There was also an issue on our side...supposedly, the lawyer we hired when we first bought that house recorded things wrong, and someone else's name was on our deed. Our names were on the deed to another piece of property. What the ???!!!! Have you ever heard of that before??
So, the closing is set for tomorrow at 2:00pm. We are not attending, our lawyer is representing us. (we're signing the papers in the morning) PRAY that all goes well!!! We really need to pay back DH's parents the $$$$$$ they lent us before the year is up!!!!!

geez...sounds just like my situation but reverse, as I'm the buyer.

Congratulations Melissa!!!! Im so glad it all worked out. I love the new avatar, I havent seen a pic of your girls in ages!! I wish I could see it better but they look absolutely gorgeous!!!!!
