Ogunquit, Maine

Anyone been? I heard some good things from people at work and was thinking of taking a trip there with DH (probably in late spring/early summer).

If you have any input, suggestions, comments, please let me know.

DH and I went to Kennebunkport, ME in 07 and took a day trip to Ogunquit. Cute town with lots to do. Here was my post with some pictures:

I went to Ogunquit with my DH and DD (who was 13 mos at the time) last summer and had a FANTASTIC time!! We absolutely loved it -- we stayed at The Beachmere Inn which was just BEAUTIFUL. We even booked a return trip for this coming summer as we left! (we've NEVER done something like that before! )

The beaches are really nice, the town is cute with lots of great restaurants, there's a Playhouse, and it's about an hour away from Freeport's outlets (and LL Bean), and an easy drive to a few nearby towns. If you like laid back, beachy-type vacations, I highly recommend Ogunquit!

Thank you! It really sounds nice. I think we'll definitely be planning a trip there soon.

And that Beachmere Inn looks AMAZING!
