I watched the clip on the news last night and thought the same thing - what was wrong with the other people in the bar that they weren't trying to help her?!??
Absolutely disgusting - he tossed her around like a doll. The news didn't give an update on her condition...

I didn't go to the article, but is that the incident that happened in Chicago? It's been on the news here for a few days. I'm appalled that no one tried to help her and it took over a month for it to come out. Last night, they said the woman was offered compensation by a friend of the cop to let the incident slide. The woman was so scared she quit her job 4 days after the beating and refuses to give her last name during interviews bc she doesnt want anyone else to threaten her.
ETA: She had some cuts and bruises, but nothing major. I think she was more shook up than anything.
