Of course...
Of course it's our first month plunging headfirst into IUI, and wouldn't you know it, it looks like I'm going to ovulate on Sunday.
The one and only day my RE is closed.
Yes, yes, I know, I have an appointment with the new practice on 2/28, which is the earliest they could get me in.
So, it looks like this month will probably be a wash, and a BIG waste of $500

your re closes? My RE is open 7 days a week if need be--- even if it's just for them to come in for a 5 minute procedure. Also, you may not be totally out--- a lot of ppl get 2 IUIs done back to back, so maybe it would be fine to ask for it to be done on Sat and then again on Mon to cover your bases?

Nope, no Sunday hours, and this place has a very good reputation in my area. But, nonetheless, I'm not happy so I'm switching to a practice that's open everyday.
She said she's going to do an IUI on Saturday and on Monday, but still, if I'm spending $500 I don't want that nagging voice in the back of my head thinking I didn't optimize my chances by getting the best possible day.

My RE feels its best to do IUI day before O...that way the "swimmers" are there waiting already
