"The Flu test is only 80% accurate"

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon OK, so its only 80% sure that she has the flu, but if it was negative I should be ok with saying its only 80% sure that it's right THEN but not now?

Odd since two weeks ago it was negative.

I love how doctors rephrase things to best suit them. If she were acting lethargic and 'sick' then she'd have given her tamaflu, but since at the time of the visit (on tylenol/motrin/benedryl) she was fine, lets just skip that and give her antibiotics.

Which again is her twisting her story since just 5mins earlier it was "only IF she gets green or yellow mucus, because right now she's clear, so we don't expect it to develop" ok.. then "Give her the antibiotics for the sinus infection.

You mean the one she said she didn't have?

Oh and I asked "But if I treat the sinus infection she isn't showing signs for but she has the flu, wouldn't it be too late for tamaflu to work?" her answer was yes, but with how she's acting it wouldn't have help anyway.
