Odd MIL update
My mom (who knows nothing about what I posted) just called me. She had contacted my MIL yesterday and invited MIL over for dinner before the end of summer (after our wedding, my mom had called to thank her for everything and they talked about getting together over the summer) and MIL blew her off. DH swears that MIL likes my family and she has no reason not to like them. So she will make no effort with them but will e-m my friends. Odd.

how did your MIL blow your mother off?
ETA..if i were you i would just keep distant for a little while...And then maybe around the holidays try having the families GTG
