OBGYN Recommendations
Hi Ladies!
I will be TTC next month and I don't have an OBGYN. I live in Queens, but am willing to travel to Nassau or Manhattan for a really good doctor.
TIA

I really love Dr. Trentacoste. Her office is on 84th on the east side.

ETA: The office is affiliated with Mt. Sinai

Re: OBGYN Recommendations
there are 2 I would highly recommend, one is in Forest Hills - Dr. Marina Shtern, she is affiliated with NYH of Queens, she is wonderful , she delivered my SIL 2x and few women in our family got to her, she is truly great. There is another one in Manhattan, she is affiliated with MT. Sinai, Dr. Angela Bianco, she is high risk but I think she takes non high risk patients too. She is with mount Sinai maternal and fetal dept . Loved her.

Re: OBGYN Recommendations
Thanks for all the suggestions!
I guess I never really thought about what hospital I would like to deliver at...I'm assuming that Mt. Sinai and LIJ are the best hospitals?

OBGYN Recommendations
I would suggest Dr. Klein in Great Neck who is the head doctor at North Shore. I was going to Dr. Ostroff in New Hyde Park who is a part of Women for Women and had an awful experience with the office staff and the doctor herself. Dr. Klein's office is very professional and you are not treated like a number. I don't have anything negative to say about any of the doctors in his practice. However, my favorite other than Klein is Dr. Gilbert. I have been to both LIJ and North Shore and North Shore really has there act together compared to LIJ. Before you make any decisions you should research Dr. Klein and North Shore.

Re: OBGYN Recommendations
I would never recommend Women for Women. I do loooove my current practice however and everyone I know who goes there says the same...North Shore OBGYN in Bayside across from Bay Terrace. I see Dr. Rothstein and can't say enough about her! Also, I've delivered at both LIJ (2x) and NSUH (1x) and had good experiences at both.
