ObGYN Question
Hi! After many many monthes of trying God answered our prayers. I just had a few quick questions...I def want to change my OBGYN bc I want to deliver in SB. I was thinking of changing to Dr. Porte. I was going to call tomorrow to get an appointment. When do the doctors first see you....I just got a BFP. Also I am 3 monthes late for my annual, will they do my annual then too? Thank so much I am so excited and nervous!!!!!!

ObGYN Question
Congrats on your bfp!!! If you just got it that should put you at about 4-4.5 weeks pregnant depending on what the 1st day of your last cycle was.. Most Dr's will see you when youre about 7-8 weeks. by then you'll be able to see a heartbeat when you have the ultrasound. If you are late for your annual be sure to tell them, they will most likely do your pap smear then.

Re: ObGYN Question
Dr. Porte will see you at 10 weeks, 6 weeks after your BFP. Also, he will not do your pap in the first trimester as it caused bleeding and doesn't want to worry patients. I got my pap around week 20. He is the best, you will be in good hands!
