OB that delivers at Southside Hospital

Ok, now that I have decided to switch OB's at 23 weeks-- does anyone have a great recommendation of one that delivers at Southside? I will tell you why I am switching, so that the new one does not do the same things. Number 1 reason -- he claimed he would deliver at Southside, but now he is saying maybe not if he is currently on rounds at Good Sam, and I have many personal reasons why I will never deliver there again. Number 2 -- he won't let DH come int eh room with me at visits, and we both find that annoying.
Number 3 -- his nurse is extremely annoying and yells at me about even the stupidest things -- they are soooo ultra conservative to the point of ridiculousness. Number 4 -- whenever I have had something stupid like a yeast infection, he demands that I come into the office, even though I have had like 2000 of them in my lifetime, instead of just calling in the script and saving me time, money, and aggravation (I have a two year old). Number 5 -- he insists on doing a sono at every visit and I don't find that necessary. Whenever I have asked him not to, he says it is the way he does things. I am done! I really want to find one that has more than one doctor, but not more than 4 -- i have the the Southbay OBGYN thing and don't want that again. One that will definitely do Southside, and one who has a great staff, and the wait isn't ridiculous. Does this exist?

I use dr kristi Egner and love her. She is in Islip and delivers at southside. The # is 224 4200

I see Dr. Berlin and Dr. Egner. Their office is on Union right off of Saxon and they deliver at Southside. I like both doctors (they make you see both since either can be on call to deliver) and their staff is friendly. It is usually pretty easy to get an appt with them and I've never experienced a long wait for my appt.

I use Dr Judge at SouthBay OBGYN. He delivers at Southside and Good Sam. There are other Drs in the practice too. I have seen 2 others before I got PG and they were both very nice.

I use Dr. Kastan in Oakdale. I wouldn't say I love the office, but it's ok, and I know several people who have used him and had great delivery experiences. It's his practice, and he has one other Dr (who I refuse to see, but that's bc of a personal situation). I have never waited more than 15 minutes, and usually only about 5 min.

He may not seem the friendliest at first, but his main priority is his patients and he will not tolerate any mistreatment of them. He is also very laid back about most things and will not make you worry about things you don't need to know or worry about.

I see Dr. Martin Matalon at 375 Main St. in Bayshore. I have been going to him for years I love him. GL

Thank you! Has anyone been to Comprehensive OBGYN? Do they deliver at Southside? Someone mentioned them to me the other day but didn't know where they delivered.
