Re: NYU???

I was there from Sept - Dec and saw Dr. Berkeley (I think he's head of it)

IMO NYU had stricter guidelines at least for me a high FSHer. I wasn't allowed to cycle unless I got FSH under 12 and because I was a poor responder with meds they converted my IVF cycle to IUI Chat Icon

Overall, everyone was great to work with from the drs to the staff. Even the billing dept was great! I would highly recommend NYU as long as your issue is high FSH/poor response

if it's the same clinic it was right next to the midtown tunnel (maybe 39th and 1st) and at the time parking was easy plus I worked at 39th and Park so it was an easy walk to work after morning monitoring, which if I remember started at 6am

also I was self pay and in 2005 an IVF cycle was running about $8500, I just recently found some old paperwork

I also spent time at New Hope and Columbia, let me know if you need any other info

Yes I actually saw Dr Grifo.. He doesnt treat my immune issues and blood clotting disorders so he told me to go back to SIRM and get treated.. He was highly recommended and has a great reputation.. Chat Icon

Re: NYU???

Thanks everyone. I was considering going to them for a second opinion. I think I'm going to go to a few doctors. Since I got all of my records, anyway. I've been going to this practice for a long time and I think they've kind of gotten into a rut with me. I've had so many treatments that I had over 200 pages of records that they wanted to charge me 75 cents a page for Chat Icon
