Nyc tax question
Is there a time frame that you must live in nyc to be required to pay nyc taxes?
Dh and i were married in july and he moved out of his nyc home in june.
he lived outside of nyc for more than 6 months of the year.
therefore, is he still required to pay nyc tax?

there is a part-year resident form - and the taxes are prorated for the number of months that you lived there
