NYC Mommies: I have a GTG idea...2/13/10
If you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see open art classes that go from 3PM-5PM. I figured it's a good space for us Moms and babies to play, create, be happy...tell me what you think...
It's in Park Slope (of course...)
Hootenanny Art House
Click on "Classes" and scroll all the way to the bottom where they have open art classes...you'll see what I am talking about...

my friends had their boys' bday party there!
I don't think I would be able to make it-- 3 is too late for me to be venturing too far from home with Sasha's schedule... then with getting through 2 tunnels at rush hour with a hungry/tired baby.

Ditto on that...Chels eats dinner at 5 and then is in her bath at 630, won't be able to make it in time

For some reason the link isn't working--Randella, did you like it there? I'm going to bring Chloe regardless of a GTG, but I thought it would be a great venue!
Any other ideas?

what about a restaurant that would be baby-friendly-- or I know there are a few other indoor play spaces that we may be able to reserve depending on the amount of people. I forget the name of one I know... it's near Prospect Park.
I know just cause I used to work for a company that did baby/mom events-- they would just call ahead and make a res with the # of moms and babies-- I just checked their web site to see where some of the restaurants, and this was the only one listed:
Pane E Vino, 174 Smith Street, Cobble Hill
I never made it to their party because it was a Sunday in the summer at 3 30-- and I couldn't get there with the traffic! But, I know that their boys love it there, and other friends of mine in BK have been to bday parties there.
