I'm thinking of cancelling my primary insurance and just using dhs ghi. Can anyone tell me how much are copays at the obgyn & specialists and how much the hospital visit will cost? Anything else I need to know? Tia

The birth was I think $250 and copays were maybe $15 or 20

co pays were 15 reg,30 specialist and 25 at my hemo but i think bc that is for the blood too

50 for entering into hospital plus the 250...if i remember correctly!

Copays for dr visits $15, bloodwork/lab tests $15, I paid $300 for the hospital stay when I had my son, i had a private room.

Also, my OB only takes $15 at the first appt. during pregnancy. I pay the lab she sends my blood to for the bloodwork and the sono place for the sonograms (all are $15)

I don't pay any co-pays when I go to the ob. Only for the first vist when your preg. And 2 or 3 dollars for urine testing. Blood tests and sonograms you get a 15 dollar bill for.

When I had DS I think it was either 250 or 300 for me and 300 for my son bc he was in the nicu. I don't know if they charge you for the baby if they are in the regular nursery.
