NY Wineries

Anyone have any suggestions on wineries in the hudson valley area? I missed the HUdson valley wine fest last weekend; but would love to go up on a saturday to a wine tasting and possibly stay the night and head back home the next day.

Anyone do anything similar to this? Any recomendations on where to stay?

There are several great wineries in New Paltz and the town is a lot of fun. There's pumpkin & apple picking and a bunch of restaurants and bars. (college town)

But securing a hotel room for the month of October may be tough at this point. They're usually booked up by now.
