Nutritionist
My first IVF cycle failed and now I am looking to do anything I can to improve our chances for next time. Does anyone see a nutritionist? Do any of your doctors recommend seeing one? I don't know if it's worth it, but I decided to get some opinions? I have PCOS, but I am a normal weight. Despite being a normal weight, I don't eat as well as I could. Also, are there specific things I should be eating or avoiding? I don't want this to affect my IF treatments. What do you ladies think? I'm willing to try anything. I just started acupuncture today.
Thanks so much!!
If you do see a nutritionist, can you recommend him/her?

Re: Nutritionist
I was seeing a Naturalpath doctor a few years ago before I started IVF. She gave me lots of vitamins and told me I should change my diet: cut out cheese, dairy, wheat, chocolate...she also had my husband and I do a detox. At the time she did help alot. I learned a lot about nutrition and what I was eating. That being said I spoke with my mom who is a nurse and realized that what she was saying could help but may not cure my IF. I realized that there may be something wrong that can't be cured with changing my diet. To make a long story short I haven't seen her in 2 years and went back to her last week. Again she stressed the importance of changing my diet and that stressed me out even more. I spoke to my acupuncturist whom I love and he told me to eat more red foods and increase my veggies. He told me that changing my diet would stress my body out even more and that was the last thing I need. I do have the name of my sister-in-laws nutritionist that I may see who does blood tests to see if you have an allergy to certain foods. He I may see just to get a list of foods I should be eating and staying away from while I go through my IVF. His name is Dr. Dulin and he is in Farmingdale. Let me know if you want his number. I have not seen him however my sister in law says hes great.

Thanks so much. I really just want the same thing. I just want something that might add to the IVF process. I want someone familiar with it, so nothing I do interferes with the IVF.
