Nursing strike or weaning? Please help!
The last couple days, my 10 mo DD is refusing to nurse. She will take her morning feed and the following but the rest of the day she won't. She will however take a bottle. I don't know what to do. I was thinking it could be teething but she cut her two bottom teeth about a month ago and we didn't have this problem. I don't understand why she will take a bottle of pumped milk but won't nurse. She is also fighting her naps like crazy if that makes a difference. I am desperate for advice. I will be devastated if she is weaning

That seems really young to self wean. I would keep offering and check out kellymom for ideas. Here is her page on nursing strikes. There are lots of links on just nursing strikes at the bottom.
Around that age, DD def started nursing less overall. Now at 11 months, she's down to 3 times a day some days and will never nurse if we're out and about or sometimes even DH being home is too distracting. Yesterday she didn't nurse between 10:30 and bedtime at 7:30! She wasn't interested before we headed out and refused while we were at a party.
Good luck! I hope you get her back into the swing soon.

Going through the same thing here @ 10 months. He is only interested in the morning and before bed (even then he nurses very quickly). I keep offering during the day but it's like he doesn't want to stay lying down at all. He'll nurse for like 3 minutes and that's it. I'm assuming my supply will stop/drop unless I start pumping during the day which I really don't want to do:( I worry about him not getting enough as he isn't huge into solid foods

PetVet, I hope things get better for you soon. DD won't nurse at all the rest of her feedings, not even before bed :( I offer and she screams and pushes away yet she will take a bottle. I have been pumping but I only get like 3-4 oz when I pump and my freezer stash is down to pretty much nothing. I have been adding in a pump session before I go to bed. I am praying this gets better soon, it's so frustrating that I can't nurse her

I get about the same amount when I pump as well (3-4 ounces). Have you tried other positions to nurse in (never worked for me but some people can nurse with baby sitting up etc) to see if she would prefer that? I hope she comes around for you soon, it can be so frustrating when we can't figure out what the issue is
