Nursery or Pre-school Merrick/Bellmore
Hoping for 2-3 times a week. Starting to look around for DD and I'm not too familiar with our area. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I lived in Merrick as a child and went to Merrick Woods. Checked it out for my 2.5 yo recently. It's still very nice.
Also looked at Merokee Kids just off Sunrise. They only had full day programs and we were looking for half day.
We wound up at Wee Friends in Bellmore as a recommendation from the Little Gym in Merrick. I had never heard of it. My son LOVES it and so do we. It's set in Gunther elementary school so he's getting used to going to a real school. He goes Tues and Thurs from 9-11:30. He's been there 3 weeks already and I notice a huge difference in him socially. He's singing, talking up a storm, counting everything, telling me about shapes. The teachers are fantastic. Can't say enough about it!!!
