Nursery ????
Does anyone know if it is ok to use regular primer if you are using a low or no voc paint?? Thanks!!!

you can but it kind of defeats the purpose.
most of the VOCs are while you are painting not so much after the fact.
ETA - so you even really need a primer? Have the walls been painted or is it fresh drywall. If they have been painted and unless you are going over a dark color you do not need primer.

We are going from dark red to light yellow so primer is a must but like you said if most of the fumes come from the paint then we will just get low or no voc paint. Thanks!!
