Numbness in leg

I am 12 weeks pregnant. I am getting a numbness in my right leg. It is not pain, it just feels like pins and needles (like when something falls asleep)
It has been coming and going over the past 3 days.

Has anyone had this or know what it is?
What is the difference between this and sciatica? Thanks

i hear it's sciatica i have it too but not so much numbness, just shooting pain! hope you feel better!

Even though it's normal just mention it to your doctor. I've had this since the middle of my pregnancy mainly on the right side of my leg, my OB said it was because the baby lays on a nerve.

Half my knees are now partically numb as if they fell asleep. Since mid pregnancy it was only my left knee and just recently I noticed the tip of my middle finger feels like pins and needles.

Like I said I'm sure it's perfectly normal but just mention it to your doctor because (not to scare you) you want to make sure it's not due to a blood clot or anything.
